Client Websites

Web Design by Dave encourages best practices regarding accessibility when working with a client on their web presence. When building a site, we make a reasonable effort to ensure that the site and digital information is accessible, as outlined in the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. Clients who choose to maintain their own web presence after a build by Web Design by Dave will be offered training, which includes accessibility training and best practices.

Disclaimer

While Web Design by Dave includes accessibility information in the training we provide to clients when the completed site is delivered, we are not able to ensure the continued accessibility of a site once the site is primarily maintained by the client. Additionally, we are unable to ensure the WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards if the client has requested a specific site build which is, by design, inaccessible. In these cases, Web Design by Dave will offer accessible alternatives, however, we are ultimately contracted to deliver what the client requests.
